And all the world is football-shaped…

‘cuz Ipswich are the greatest football team

Just stumbled across this great photo compilation. Brought back a bunch of memories. I can still recognize all those players from the 70’s/80’s. Guess you don’t forget the good stuff.

Greatest small club in the world. Here’s hoping for a return to the Premiership next season.

    What a lovely portaloo. ;)

The English definitely loved their cheesy club-based songs in the 70s/80s, eh?

Why did I know you’d be the one posting a reply? ;)

I’m pretty sure the songs go back earlier than the 70’s One song, Edward Ebeneezer Jeremiah Jones, has to be from before then. Great goofy tune. I’ve even heard it sung at Portman Road.

Funny thing, I have a CD that’s only about 4 years old called Psycho Delia. Wonder who that’s in reference to? ;) “Let’s be ‘aven’ ya!!!”

for anyone reading this who doesn’t have a clue what KJ is on about…Delia Smith is a TV cook in england and owner of scum…errr Naarich City. One night at HT during a match on Sky she decided to get locals to behind their crap team for the second half. Sky camera’s where there to broadcast live.
